Concessionary TV Licence

Some sheltered housing schemes, where a Scheme Co-ordinator lives on-site, are eligible for a concessionary TV licence. This costs only £7.50 per household per year and the fee is collected by the Scheme Co-ordinator. Some residents have 'preserved rights' because they live in a scheme where different circumstances applied in the past.

Even if you are not eligible for a concessionary TV licence, all residents over 75 are eligible for a free TV licence and residents who are registered blind are able to apply for a licence at a reduced price of 50% of the normal licence fee.
