Sheltered housing

What is sheltered housing?

Sheltered housing is self-contained accommodation provided for people over pensionable age or disabled people who require the added security and reassurance that a sheltered housing scheme can offer. It is designed for people who need the reassurance of knowing that emergency assistance is available 24 hours a day. It is ideal for people who want to live independently, while having someone close by in the case of an emergency.

All our sheltered schemes have the support of a scheme co-ordinator, who is responsible for dealing effectively with day to day events at the scheme. Each property is provided with an emergency alarm unit or an integrated system which is monitored by the scheme co-ordinator during office hours and by the 24 hour Emergency Alarm Centre, Call24Hour, at all other times.
