Information for contractors

Tor Homes is committed to providing excellent services to our residents and promoting equality of opportunity and equal treatment of all persons. To ensure that we achieve this, we insist that contractors and all of their employees are aware of the standards which we wish to achieve, and agree to adhere to these. Contractors are only approved for employment by Tor Homes on the condition that they have read, and agreed to abide by, the Code of Conduct for Contractors. Contractors are also required to comply with the terms of Tor Homes' Asbestos Risk Management Policy and Procedure. Tor Homes holds a register of properties containing asbestos. Before accessing any property, contractors should contact Neil Hayman, Service Team Manager, to obtain information on the asbestos status of the property. Contractors should instruct all operatives on the procedures that should be followed where asbestos is present and ensure that staff are adequately trained as necessary.
