The South West Tenants' Panel and Area Panels
Some of our tenants enjoy coming to our Panel meetings which meet regularly throughout the year.
The South West Tenants' Panel meets quarterly to discuss policy issues and service standards, and to review the feedback from the members of the Involvement Web.
The three Area Panels which are based around the major towns of Totnes/Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Ivybridge, meet three times a year to discuss more local and individual issues.
Residents' Associations
We have many Residents' Associations on individual estates and sheltered housing schemes. These meet regularly to discuss local estate-based issues and organise social and fund-raising events. Tor Homes is able to offer training and support to these groups and, if they become formally constituted, we can offer annual grants too.
Review Groups
We have a small number of tenants who are happy to meet with members of staff as part of a small focus group to discuss the details of particular issues. We have recently held Review Group meetings to discuss the condition of our tenants' gardens and our Voids Standards (the condition of our empty properties when new tenants move in).
